Nationals CF Dukes leaves with strained hamstring
WASHINGTON (AP) - Washington Nationals center fielder Elijah Dukes left Friday night's game against the Philadelphia Phillies in the seventh inning with a strained left hamstring.

The team listed Dukes as day to day. The Nationals and Phillies are scheduled to play a day-night doubleheader Saturday.

"He could be fine by tomorrow," Acta said after Washington lost to Philadelphia 10-6 in 12 innings Friday night.

Dukes pulled up grimacing and clutched his left leg after running toward a fly ball hit by Jayson Werth. The ball was caught by left fielder Adam Dunn.

One batter earlier, Dukes had climbed the outfield wall attempting to catch a home run by Ryan Howard.

According to Acta, Dukes was "cramping up before that. When he went to chase one of those balls, he just kind of got tighter."

Dukes was replaced in center field by Willie Harris.
