Short Stay at the Top

Apr. 18, 2009 (Baseball Musings delivered by Newstex ) --

Jason Johnsons stay at the top of the NL ERA leaders was quite short, as the Nationals score six earned runs in the first two innings. The grand slam by Austin Kearns really hurt.

Update: The Nationals are scoring without Dukes in the lineup. He broke a team rule (details after the game):

The indication is that Dukes was five minutes late for the teams workout today, which prompted the punishment. (Notice the lockdown, post-Milledge.) Manny Acta will address the matter post game, and once we hear more, Ill update.
