Josh Beckett, Boston: The overall season numbers aren't there, but this is the time of year Beckett lives for. You can't leave him out of the lineup at this point.

Johan Santana, New York Mets: He could very well be the greatest second-half pitcher in the history of the sport. It's his strong finishes that led him to multiple Cy Young awards, and he's throwing the best he has all season long.

Rich Harden, Chicago Cubs: Breaking down the numbers shows he's actually had a better national League run than CC Sabathia has. Don't know why it's getting less fanfare than it should be, but Harden's been incredible for the Cubbies.

Brandon Webb, Arizona: Finally got that elusive 20th win. Now that that's off his brain, he'll roar right past the rest of the teams he faces this year.

Randy Johnson, Arizona: The Big Unit's ERA just recently went below 4.00 (3.99) for the first time this year, and you probably aren't aware 10 of his last 11 outings have been "quality starts," including one-run efforts in three of his last five. The strikeouts are solid as well, so jump all over him if you haven't already.

Tim Lincecum, San Francisco: He was the tough luck loser to the Unit in their duel last week, though it was still a solid effort. He could very well take down the Cy Young this season, despite pitching for a sub-.500 team. Plus, he's led me to my league's championship game. He's a stud in my book.
